Amanda Pride | Children's Minister
Amanda Pride goes by many names—Children’s Minister, bonus mom, adoptive mom, business owner, author, wife, friend, daughter, sister—but her favorite name is Child of God. With over 20 years in student ministry, Amanda has a deep passion for sharing Jesus in a way that makes faith personal, real, and transformative.
Amanda moved to Pittsburg when she was adopted at the age of nine. She earned her Bachelor's at Pitt State and a Master’s in Christian Ministry from Ozark Christian College and has been married to her husband, Justin, for seven years. Together, they have four children—two older children whom she proudly claims as her bonus (step) kids, and two younger boys whom she and Justin adopted. Their home is loud, chaotic, full of outdoor adventures, and overflowing with love—though, like any family, they sometimes miss the mark and rely on God’s grace daily.
Amanda’s heart is to disciple kids in a way that helps them develop a genuine, personal relationship with Jesus. She is committed to teaching biblical truth and helping children understand that they are not just the future of the church—they are the church, active kingdom workers in their schools, communities, and homes.
At Countryside, Amanda seeks to partner with parents in raising up a generation of Christ-followers who know their faith, live it out, and share it with others.
