Children’s Ministry
At Countryside Kids (KIC), every piece of our ministry is intentionally connected, working together to build a strong foundation of faith, family, and purpose. This year, we’re excited to introduce our Ministry Puzzle Pieces—each representing a key focus area that guides everything we do:
Faith Foundations (Matthew 28:19-20)
This central puzzle piece is the core of everything we do, connecting and overlapping with all the other pieces. It includes both:
Weekly Programming: Sunday and Wednesday curriculum, where kids learn to know, love, and follow Jesus through scripture, prayer, and spiritual practices.
Events & Activities: Intentional gatherings designed to deepen faith and biblical understanding.
Family Discipleship (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
Equipping families to grow together in faith through intentional events and shared experiences that bring faith conversations into the home.
Community (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Fostering a sense of belonging and connection among children, their families, and the broader church community through events and shared experiences.
Service (Matthew 25:40)
Teaching kids to serve others with love, compassion, and generosity, modeling the life of Jesus in practical and meaningful ways.
Missions & Outreach (Matthew 5:16)
Encouraging children to share their faith actively and serve others locally and globally, shining the light of Jesus in their communities and beyond.
2025 KIC Calendar Highlights
We have an exciting year planned, and every event is intentionally tied to one or more of these focus areas.
From Indoor Mini Golf and Family Escape Rooms to VBS and Trunk or Treat, each activity is designed to help children and families grow in faith, connection, and purpose.
